Kyle Allen
Kyle grew up on a family farm in East Central Missouri, graduating from Troy Buchanan High School in 2005. He received his Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2009. After graduating, Kyle accepted a role in central Missouri as a District Sales Manager with Crows Hybrids-Channel Seed. After 2 years in that role, Kyle transitioned back to his hometown of Troy, Missouri accepting a role as an Agricultural Education teacher of the Troy FFA. While teaching at the Troy FFA, he sold seed on the side to farmers in his area & his business grew. After 4 years of teaching agricultural education, he stepped away to become a full time Channel Seedsman in the spring of 2013 starting Allen Seed & Service LLC. Kyle built a seed facility in Hawk Point, MO with industry leading seed treating system for on demand seed treating for farmers. In the winter of 2019, Kyle & Shane became partners starting Gateway Precision Ag LLC to bring the latest precision technologies to farmers in our area.
Kyle & his wife Katie currently reside in Troy with their two daughters, Claire & Chloe. They enjoy attending Mizzou Tiger football games in the fall & spending time with family. Kyle is a dedicated St. Louis Cardinals fan & enjoys spending time outdoors.
Shane Myers
Shane was raised just outside Troy, Missouri on his family’s third generation farm where they raised corn, soybeans, wheat, & market hogs growing up. He attended Troy Buchanan High School & graduated in 2008. Shane pursued further education at the University of Missouri-Columbia & graduated with his degree in Agricultural Systems Management with a minor in Agriculture Economics. After graduation, he worked for Monsanto in soybean breeding for two years. Shane accepted the role at Service Supply COOP in Bellflower, MO as the Precision Ag Specialist in 2014. He worked with growers for 5 years with precision upgrades, data management, crop scouting, soil sampling, & fertility management. In the spring of 2019, Shane & Kyle started Gateway Precision Ag LLC to service more growers in East Central, Missouri.
Shane & his wife Rachel live in Moscow Mills, Missouri with their daughters, Hensley and Cora, just minutes from their family farm. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing golf, spending time at their family farm, and supporting MU Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals, & Kansas City Chiefs.
